#madmarch

Well march was a tad mad than I thought it would be as I added extra books to my TBR because of Becca's 48 hour Bookoplathon but as it turned out the books I was already fitted with the prompts. My first book was The Beast and The Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. This book reminded me of Roald Dahl's Books of my childhood. I already have written a review with a hashtag line of sometimesit'sfunbeingnaughty and I gave it 4 stars.

My next book was a Middle Grade Graphic Novel from DC Young Readers called Anti/Hero about two Middle Graders who went to the same school. One wanted to be a Superhero and the other wanted to be a Baddie. This is the only thing I am going to tell you about this book only to say I am becoming a big fan of this imprint and is my third graphic novel and I really can't wait to see what they do next. For this reason I gave it 4 stars.

I read another Graphic Novel but this time it was a Young Adult called Skyward Volume 1 My Low G life. Imagine a world where the gravity was low after something happened. This the first in a series. This is the story of Willa Fowler who is trying to find herself in a crazy world. I love Willa she was Gun-ho and not afraid of anything. I will be definitely carrying on with this series and for this reason I gave it 4 Stars.

My next book was Truthwitch by Susan Dennard which is first in a series called the witchlands and I was reading it as part of a readalong set up by Jadeyraereads from You Tube. I have to admit I have had this whole series sitting on my shelves for years and it was great that I finally got to read it. Truthwitch is a Young Adult fantasy which does have a lot of politics which I thought I would not like but together with action and comedic scenes it was very enjoyable. Each book in the series is given to a different witch. So in this book our main characters were Safi who was a Truthwitch which was very coveted as she could tell whether a person was telling the truth or lies and her friend iseult who was a Threadwitch and could read people's threads. At the start of the book Safi and Iseult after trying to steal from a rich person they grab the attention of a Bloodwitch who begins to track Safi and Iseult. I read the book and listened to the audiobook and I found that the narrator was very good and I gave this 4 stars.

My next book was the wonderful Middle Grade Fantasy Debut of Amari and The Night Brothers written by the talented B B Alston and was the Monthly Pick for Middle Grade Monthly. All I am going to say about this book is that it reminds me of a cross between Spy Kids and Men in Biack and you really really need to read as soon as possible. I enjoyed this book so much I had to pre -order he next book in the series which comes out in 2022. For all these reasons I gave it 5 stars.

My final book was Take A Hint Dani Brown written by the wonderful and talented Talia Hibbert. This is the second book involving a Brown Sister. Again I read and listened along to the audio book and I had so much fun. You can read my separate review with the hashtag Ilovethisseries. For this reason I gave it 5 Stars.

To recap I read 6 Books which totalled 1802 pages, unhauled 5 books and the breakdown of the books I read were 3 Physical, 1 Ebook and 2 Mixed Media.
