So here it my first pick for this project but before I discuss the Notebook I want to give you an idea who I was in that year which was 1996. I was about to turn 26 when I went to Disneyworld for the first time and because of that holiday my outlook changed which I am not going to say anymore because I am here to talk about the book.

This was my first ever book written byNicholas Sparks and I felt nothing emotionally but the film adaptation gave me all the feels and I kept thinking while reading there was something missing yes there was the atmosphere but the true power of love never shone through for me and then I felt a little bit deflated when I saw that there was a sequel which I will not be reading. For all the aboe reasons The Notebook receives 2 stars
