I love middle grade books and am always looking for the next big thing and I think I found it. While being a relative newbie with netgalley I was looking at the Read Now section and came across The Heath Cousins and the Kingsgate Bridge. I hadn't realised that it was a 2nd book in a series so wasn't keen on reading it until i read the first book but over the christmas period I wanted something that not only keep me entertained but was on the short er side. The series of books by Eileen Hobbs tells of the adventures the Heath Cousins have in a world where they have special powers. I enjoyed the book so much that I have gone and bought the first book and can't wait to read it. I can actually see this book as a movie and it reminds me of the Goonies and the Chronicles of Narnia. I am giving this wonderful book 4 stars and can't believe that hardly anyone have heard of this series.
