Believathon Day 29

Day 29 was not great pain wise so I decided to immerse myself in some Middle Grade graphic novels as I have purchased a few and boy oh boy they were amazing. So much so my next read is going to be another Middle Grade graphic novel called El Deafo by Cece Bell.

The first Middle Grade Graphic Novel I picked up was called The Okay Witch by Emma Steinkellner and was Emma's debut. I originally had started reading The Okay Witch in October 2019 but decided to restart it and I am so glad I did. The main character is a girl called Moth who at the age of 13 finds out things not only about herself but her mum too. She also was able to make a friend something she has not been able to do. I found it very captivating and had to give 4 stars.

The second Middle Grade Graphic Novel I read was Stargazing by Jen Wang who wrote the Prince and the Dressmaker. Stargazing is about two very different girls from the Chinese American Community who become friends. This is very poignant then something happens which was so well written that I was actually crying so I had to give it 5 stars.
